These clients incorporated a porch into a larger room. The porch is shown from the outside before adaptation, and from the inside afterwards. They wanted stained glass designed after a window in Lyon, France, seen here on the right.

The colours were revised by agreement and the design adapted to the new shape.

The new window

Interpreting the Work of Other Artists:
Interpretation 1
The client liked a rectangular window by Leslie Perlis Studio, San Diego, USA, and wanted the design (which I have redrawn above left) adapted for a gable in a new green oak barn construction. Accordingly I altered it to fit the six lights of the gable. Various stages are shown here including the cartoon, leading up and installation.

Interpretation 2

Here the client wanted new glass based on a rectangular Victorian design. I produced a set of colour options for a circular version, and made the one that was chosen.
